Today we’ll be at Rushall Manor Farm, working with John Bishop.
We will be doing a range of tasks in the woods. This means we will be travelling in the trailer so please make sure you bring a mask in addition to your usual hand sanitizer and your own refreshments.
The main task will be coppicing but we will also be putting pailings around hazels that have already been coppiced and finding and digging up oak saplings for transplanting.
Rushall Manor Farm (The Black Barn) is the next turning on the right off Back Lane after Scratchface Lane if you are coming from Bradfield or the M4. The best Postcode for Rushall Manor Farm is RG7 6DS. This takes you to the bottom of the track and then you’ll see a sign to Rushall Manor Farm. There is plenty of parking at the top of the track.
