Today we will be working with Simon Melville on Newtown Common. We have 2 tasks, building a small dam to hold back water in a valley to encourage Sphagnum mosses to grow, and clearing some nearby scrub at What3words:///space.kindness.confetti Parking will be on Newtown Common, so turn into Adbury Holt, drive past the triangular area and continue along Adbury Holt until you come to a grass track on the left hand side of the road. Follow the track that soon bends to the right, drive under the power lines and park on the Common at the far end of the track, What3words:///driftwood.note.difficult.
