Today we will be on Newtown Common on the east side of the B4640, working with Simon Melville. We will be pulling holly, either by hand or using tree poppers.

Directions and parking - coming from Newbury, at the Swan Inn roundabout take the second exit to the B4640. After about half a mile there's a dark blue sign for Horris Hill School on the right, then just over a quarter of a mile further on there's a pair of white posts on the left. Turn left between the posts and drive until the road divides in 3, take the left fork and park on the grass on the left, What3words:///darkens.scope.overt
